RiT
Technologies, a publicly held company in the United States (Nasdaq:RiTTF),
is engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of premise wiring
products and premise and local loop connectivity management systems.
The increased complexity of the rapidly growing local area network (LAN)
market has created a need for a high-performance premise wiring system
to connect the PC/terminal and the LAN hub. RiT, which commenced operations
in 1989, responded to this need by developing, manufacturing and selling
premise wiring products, specifically its SMART Cabling System, an end-to-end
solution for commercial buildings.
In today's dynamic and growing organizations, the network must support
move, add and change (MAC) procedures with respect to both people and
equipment. Building upon its foundation in premise wiring products, RiT
developed, and in 1994 introduced, PatchView, a premise connectivity management
system providing real-time connectivity information with respect to a
premise wiring system and significantly simplifying MAC procedures.
RiT's strategy is to utilize its expertise, innovative products and continued
research and development activities to strengthen its position as a high-end
provider of premise wiring products and to maintain its leadership in
the connectivity management market.
RiT's sales network spans 55 countries, including over 100 independent
distributors, a subsidiary in the US, and branches in Germany and Russia.
End-users of its products include government agencies, high-technology
companies, financial enterprises, large industrial enterprises, media
companies and telecommunications companies. Key customers include American
Express, Pacific Bell, Ericsson, Goldman Sachs, Daewoo, Telecom Argentina
and Bezeq.
Conducting its business from offices and manufacturing facilities in
Tel Aviv and a manufacturing plant in Jerusalem, RiT is certified for
ISO 9000.
